Category: FLAG

In the international maritime signal flag alphabet, the circle flag represents the letter "India" — a bold dot that signals a change of course at sea. Rendered here in hand-painted canvas, it's a nod to the timeless language of sailors and the open water.

This hand-made flag uses a washed canvas with a hand painted dot and tip with zig-zag stitch detail. Each flag is topped with a natural twine + twill tape and stamped with Slightly Choppy branding.

Please note: These are all made as a "one-of-a-kind" and may have slight imperfections giving them their own character.

We’ve got this hanging in our living room as a subtle conversation piece—guests always ask about the bold dot, and it’s a fun nod to my sailing days. The hand-painted canvas gives it a texture that feels more art than flag, and it’s held up well by the window.

The hand-painted texture on this canvas flag really stands out in person, with each brushstroke visible up close. I’ve got it mounted near my front door and it’s become a subtle conversation starter. A perfect little nod to maritime history for any sailing enthusiast.

Ella ★★★★★

I hung this in my study as a quirky art piece—the hand-painted canvas gives it a tactile, nautical feel that’s way more interesting than a print. It’s a subtle conversation starter for anyone who notices the dot’s maritime meaning.
