De Rocky Mountain National Park Act werd ondertekend door president Woodrow Wilson op 26 januari 1915, waarmee de parkgrenzen werden vastgesteld en het gebied werd beschermd voor toekomstige generaties.

Deze handgemaakte vlag gebruikt een marineblauw canvas met goudgeel gescreende typografie en een genaaid National Park-patch. Elke vlag is afgewerkt met een natuurlijke touw + twill-tape en gestempeld met Slightly Choppy branding.
